Call for Board of Director positions at One Myanmar Community (formerly known as Burmese Youth Association)

We have Board of Director position openings. If you are passionate about Burmese/Myanmar community in the Bay Area and want to contribute to our efforts in community services we provide, we would like to invite you to be on our board. We are a community based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, active in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area

At least 1 year of active community involvements

Should have leadership and management skills

Should possess great communication and collaboration skills

 

Job Description:

 

Must attend OMC’s monthly BOD’s meeting and other important meetings as necessary

Promote the organization and oversee all the projects

Monitor financial plannings and reports

Play a leading roles in fundraising activities and strategic plannings

Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Board

Make Serious commitment to participate actively in committee work

Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time

Understand the missions and visions of the organization

Understand the policies and procedures of OMC and make sure the programs are in line with the mission
